The files attached here can help you with some Wiki "tricks". It might be a good idea to have 2 windows open so you can see the file and your page at the same time.
General Ideas (reminders of mini-lessons we have had)
A) Remember capitalization rules
1) Beginning of all sentences. Also "Dear Journal"
2) All words in a name, not just the first one.
3) The word, "I" always needs to be capitalized.
B) Don't write: "Me and my family went to Cleveland." the correct way is "My family and I went to Cleveland." C) Remember to put one space after a comma and two spaces after end punctuation.

Remember, for your map you need to have:
5 markers, one for each "location" you visited. Each marker must have a title.
You can go beyond these expectations. The video below will be a reminder of what we learned in class.
Animoto Help
1) Click "Create Video" (upper left hand corner)
2) Click on "Full Length"
3) Click on "Create Video"
4) Click on "Upload". You will have to select the photos you want to use. To make the work of making a movie a little quicker, upload all the picture clips before you start creating text panels. You may need to use the "add more" button on the bottom of the Window.
5) After you have uploaded all the pictures for your project, you can create text panels. Click the add text button. Remember, you only have 22 characters (letters and spaces) for the Main Text and 30 characters for the Sub Text. THIS IS WHY PRACTICING WHAT YOU WANT TO WRITE IS A GOOD IDEA.
6) After you have all the pictures and text you want, start "dragging to the right spot. If you can remember what your text panel says, click on it and the words will appear on the right side of the screen.
7) When all is good, click the done box on the bottom of the screen.
8) Select Music from their selection. Look for "instrumentals" or listen for songs where the vocals won't detract from the message.
9) When you have selected the music, click save and continue
10) Choose 1/2 speed, the images will linger longer.
11) Give it a title and put your name in the producers line (First names only)
12) Click create video and wait patiently ... depending on size of video 5 -15 minutes.
